It’s been one year since we kicked off our project!
According to our initial plan, this second international consortium meeting, which took place virtually on January 21st 2022, should have taken place face to face in Ljubljana – but life (and COVID) happened.
Nevertheless, we still enjoyed a glimpse of the Slovenian capital. The University of Ljubljana partner tested our knowledge of their city, also known as the “Dragon city” and they even gave us a virtual tour around the old town. Ljubljana will be one of the 7 cities where we’ll be tackling urban challenges!
We finalized the discussion about the research phase of the project and decided on the publication of the first deliverables – exciting news and products will be coming soon and made freely available in our website!
We also went through all the other activities that we are planning for this year. We started by sharing the partners´ experience, results and reflections on the consultation meetings with the Innovation Communities, a group of stakeholders (experts, researchers, practitioners, …) in each of the cities. These Innovation Communities will run along the project and meet again in a few months. This year we also need to develop our learning framework for the GoodCamp Programme, the Innovation Tours methodology, and the Mentorship Scheme, which will all be piloted by all the partners before the end of the year.
Finally, we went through the project’s internal quality assurance and evaluation rationales, processes, activities and objectives to guarantee a high-quality delivery of the project’s outcomes.
Overall, it was a highly productive and fruitful encounter of the Urban GoodCamp consortium, but whose members are aiming at organizing a face-to-face meeting soon!
